Abstract:

Bromodomains (BRDs) are protein modules which bind to acetylated lysines on histones and transcriptional regulating proteins. BRD-containing proteins are involved in a large variety of critical cellular processes and their misregulation, or mutation of the genes encoding for them, has been linked to pathogenesis in humans.
