Enantiopure lithium amides in asymmetric synthesis

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned with the application of the conjugate addition of enantiopure secondary lithium amides to α,β-unsaturated esters for the asymmetric synthesis of fluorinated β-amino acids, (–)-(R)-sitagliptin, and amino sugars.
