Identification and characterisation of homologous recombination genes in Schizosaccharomyces pombe

Abstract:

DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) are highly genotoxic lesions, which can promote chromosomal rearrangements and tumorigenesis through oncogene activation or loss of heterozygosity (LOH) at tumour suppressor loci.
