Chemical scanning probe lithography and molecular construction

Abstract:

The initiation and high resolution control of surface confined chemical reactions would be both beneficial for nanofabrication and fundamentally interesting. In this work, spatially controlled scanning probe directed organometallic coupling, patterned functional protein immobilisation and highly localised reversible redox reactions on SAMs were investigated.
