Biodegradable pulsatile release technologies for viral vector based vaccinations

Alternative title:
Microparticle based vaccinations
Abstract:

Vaccines are arguably the greatest public health intervention of modern era medicine. Most vaccines, in order to be effective require multiple doses. This is disadvantageous as there is an increasing trend towards non-compliance with subsequent doses. Viral vectored vaccines represent arguably the next generation of vaccines but they too often require a heterologous prime-boost approach such as the use of Adenoviral-MVA vectors.
